EU WEEE directive 2002/96/EC article 11 requires that information be provided for recycling treatment facilities involved in disposal of electrical products first marketed in the EU after August 13th, 2005 (this date may differ in each EU country). J. MORITA MFG. CORP. exports some medical devices to the EU market which are classified in category 8 of the WEEE directive.

Batteries and accumulators can't be disposed together with household garbage!
EU-Directive 2006/66/EG, Articel 8 specifies an appropirate withdrawal system for old batteries and accumulators.
The end-consumer is bound to restorate all used or broken batteries and accumulators. They can be given to public collecting points free of charge.
