FDI World Dental Federation is a central representative body for more than one million dentists worldwide and comprises 200 member associations in 130 countries. It is active at national and international levels; for example, it maintains official relations with the World Health Organization (WHO) and is a member of the World Health Professions Alliance WHPA.

One of FDI’s main aims is developing and disseminating strategies, principles and information on oral health care around the world.. In addition, it actively promotes the continuing education of members by organizing seminars and publishing analyses. Moreover, FDI supports member associations in global campaigns designed to promote oral health care and organizes congresses.

In view of our leadership position in the fields of imaging and endodontic systems, we support the Global Continued Education Program in the field of endodontics by means of excellent lectures that are held at dental congresses and seminars.
